Wendell's 2000 images

Santa Wendell, inviting you to stand under his mistletoe. This one's in coloured pencil. I sprayed it with a sealer to keep it from smudging, and it made the blue pencil marks stand out too strongly. It wasn't something I could easily correct, so I just left it in.

More graffiti. This is Wendell, drawn in marker on a gazebo in Wasagaming, Manitoba. September 2000.

These next three were sketched on the wood planks of an observation tower in the Riding Mountain National Park in Manitoba, Canada. The graffiti is a little crude, but so many other people had left their marks on this tower already and I thought I might leave something behind myself. This china marker doodle was sketched in June 1999, and had faded quite a bit before I managed to take a photo of it in September of 2000. It's just a quick portrait of Sydd.

Last one from that observation tower. This one was sketched on my second trip out to the park, in September 2000. It shows the lion prince from the above drawing and his new husband, the fox consort. This rough is sketched with black marker.

This pencil sketch is based on some characters involved in a long-term role-playing story I've been playing. There's a lion prince and his well-fed fox consort, walking through the prince's castle.

This shows the development stages of the detailed image.

This doodle was included on a card to Keldric's player. It's Kel and Sydd enjoying a big hug.

On my refridgerator, there's a dry erase board I use for writing my shopping list. Wendell made a little visit there.

This is from the back of a postcard I sent to Wurragurr. It's sketched in ink and coloured pencil.

This was meant to be the third piece of "The Embrace." It was never finished.

Chubby panther in a leather strap harness? I thought it might look kinky.

Another quickie. Not much of a story on this one... just had to get the idea out of my head and on paper.

My Valentine for Wurragurr. Hopefully this cupid will be huge by next year.
